if your clan member is female, the opposite occurs. they pay you, and she leaves your clan. you get charm boosts, the husband/wife get charm boosts. don't remember if there is direct rep gains, or if there are hidden gains related. probably hidden rep gains, like getting married yourself makes it much easier to recruit the clan to your empire.
click "kingdoms" and you see the leader. click on the portrait. top right tells you where they have been seen last. click on it and mark it on your map. that gives you 8 nobles and the last 2 probably cross your way while searching for them. also you can trade an train your party on the way.
IF you have a high enough relation or some ridiculously amount of charm you can convince a house ( by talking to it's head ) and trying to convert them to your side, mainly by ♥♥♥♥-talking about they're current liege. Good luck on this as getting high relations may be hard, charm is near enough impossible. Is they're is a charm cheat?!
