75% Battery Health Trade In. Hello All, When I go to buy a new iPhone it offers me the option to trade in my iPhone X for money off, however my phones battery status is currently 75% and says 'service'. But none of the questions it asks you asks you if the battery holds a charge (like most trade in places do) so I press Yes and it offers me £150.

iPhone 12 Pro 512 GB Graphite in Very Good Condition. Small scratches and scuffs on sides and screen. Back mint. Damage is pictured and purely cosmetic. Battery health is 83%, unlocked for use with any carrier. IMEI is clean and ready for activation. Kept well in screen protector and case. iOS: 17.1.2. No SIM card or wall charger included.
When an iPhone 15 Pro battery is independently replaced with another genuine battery from the same iPhone model, the option to view the new battery health measurements disappears.
An iPhone battery is rated for ~500 charge cycles. If every day you go to bed with 50% battery that means you would go through ~550 charge cycles in 3 years. That clearly shows that 99% is not a correct battery health percentage. It just went down to 92%.
I kept my iPhone 7 Plus until upgrading to a 13 Mini, the battery health was at 70%. Obviously it didn't hold a charge as long as it used to so that and it being on the edge of not being able to run the newest iOS, I felt it was time for a phone upgrade. I probably could have replaced the battery (myself or at Apple), but never got around to it.
